Spring Break

Spring break was fun! and a much needed holiday from maths…so in order to relax and enjoy my holiday I embarked upon a few crafty adventures. Over the next few days I will be uploading pictures of all of them. Some are still in the works but at least I had some time to start new projects, the past few months have been terrible – art wise – no time to do anything but assignments and prepare for exams =(

I have a very good friend who also loves to craft and so one day over spring break we got together and tried all sorts of different mixed media techniques. We crumpled tissue paper, gessoed like crazy, tried the Tim Holtz

alcohol inks, cut up paper napkins, painted and made paper beads out of old magazines…in short we had a great time! You can see some of the projects I got started below. Will post pictures of my completed board book soon.
