New Videos and Announcing my Video-Books

Hello everyone!

I am very very excited today. As y’all may know I have already worked on four e-books and they are all available on amazon or etsy. All you have to do is search for Mahe Zehra Husain on Amazon and Altered Upcycling on Etsy. Here are their names:

I am so super excited! All my books are now available on the Kindle. You can download them through the links shown in the sidebar on the right. Oh! and Amazon Prime members can read the books for free!

All three books are based on upcycling techniques. Turn soda cans, plastic packaging, fabric scraps, old books and magazines into works of art. Everything from cards, frames, scrapbook layouts, bags, ornaments and table decor!

The Christmas Guide to Upcycling…

The Christmas Guide to Upcycling is my latest e-book! I am so excited to be sharing it with y’all. As most of you must already know I love to use household items that would otherwise be thrown into the trash and use them to make embellishments and projects.

This latest e-book is full of all sorts of Chritsmasy goodness with projects that range from ornaments, gifts and  jewelry to napkin rings, place-mats and much much more. All of these projects are made using up-cycled items.

My Craft Staycation!

I have a few holidays coming up and since life at work and home has been so busy lately I have decided to plan a craft staycation for myself! This idea struck me as I was wistfully going over all the different craft retreats and cruises available to crafters these days. Unfortunately time constraints do not allow me to travel and currently no such activities are scheduled in my city. So if I cannot go to a craft retreat I have vowed that it shall come to me 🙂

Over the next 5 days I will lay out a plan for the most awesome craft staycation ever! Read on if you too are wanting some crafting and me time to get away from the hectic routine of everyday life…
